Wedding Yurts

Wedding Yurts recently provided the yurt wedding package for our at home wedding in September 2019. We worked with Lizzie and Jim in the run up to the wedding to ensure that an intimate and personal wedding was created for ourselves and our guests, not to mention ensuring the home location we had dreamt of hosting our wedding was yurt-friendly.

We can not recommend Wedding Yurts more highly! Lizzie and Jim were an absolute pleasure to work with and the result was a wedding that was magical, personal and truly reflected us as a couple. All of our guests, us included, still relive how beautiful the atmosphere, location and wedding as a whole was and we thank Wedding Yurts for truly making it a special and memorable occasion.

Lizzie! What a weekend!... hate to be one of those brides, but honestly that was the best day of my life. ABSOLUTELY magical, from the sunshine to the flowers, the food to every little detail, the PERFECT cocktails to watching the yurt lit up from the riverbank while my friends danced the night away...the most magical and memorable sight. And so a massive thank you to you for all your amazing work, vision, planning, (patience with me) and so much care that went into bringing the day to life for us x

Thank you so much Lizzie and Jim. The yurts are beyond beautiful and were absolutely perfect for our wedding day, the older guests love the tea yurt and the younger guests enjoyed the dance floor. Lizzie had the whole day under control and we didn't for a second have to worry about a thing. we couldn't of asked for anything more from the team and they truly helped to make it a special week rather than just the day! Special mention for Jim's excellent driving skills getting the lorry up a tight drive and onto an Alpaca field!!

Lizzie, Jim and the team were absolutely fantastic! From the very start Lizzie was extremely helpful and happy to answer any questions we had.During the preparation, they went out of their way to help us, even speaking to other suppliers to ensure we had the right equipment and make everything perfect on the day. This continued throughout the wedding, everything ran smoothly, both on the day and the take down.

The yurts looked amazing. They are decorated beautifully and the yurt bar a wonderful addition. We had an image in our heads of how we wanted the yurts  to look, and when we arrived on the day, it look exactly how we pictured it, if not better. We received so many compliments from our guests about the yurts. We were so pleased with everything. We can't thank you enough for all your help in making our day perfect and we would recommend Wedding Yurts to anyone!

Wedding Yurts, well what can I say? Lizzie, Jim and the team did an amazing job from start to finish, from the moment we contacted them about booking the yurts to when we said goodbye after our wedding. The booking process is so easy and they are keen to make sure that your ideas influence the way the yurts look on the day, with ideas boards and questionnaires. The yurts themselves are amazing. We had all four yurts for our wedding in May, we were blessed with stunning weather (In the Lake district no less) and they looked gorgeous in the surrounding hills and lake. They did a brilliant job with the decorations and took the pressure off us completely, we hardly had to do anything, they were even happy to put out our extra bits and bobs. Even when a truck load of unannounced hay bales arrived Lizzie and Jim took it all in their stride and even put them out for us. They worked really hard on the day too making sure that everything was in order and running smoothly. Our guests really enjoyed themselves, especially sampling what the Yurt Bar had to offer, lovely cocktails and good quality drinks. They really did a great job at making our vision a reality. We couldn’t recommend Wedding Yurts highly enough.

I wanted to say another huge, giant, titanic thank you for everything you did to help us on our wedding day. You and Jim are amazing - defacto wedding planners, architects, nerve calmers, stylists and vintage glamour generators all in two very friendly people :) I am SO glad we worked together creating what we did. Every single person on that day was absolutely blown away by the yurts - even my parents who had obviously heard a lot about them before they were put up! I cannot emphasise how perfect it was, how much the whole setting and the atmosphere fitted us as a couple and how we appreciated all your help. Everyone always says their day was special and memorable, but I know that nothing will top that. It was the best.

Our wedding day was amazing, I know everyone says that, but it really was!

It would not have been as beautiful and amazing had we not chosen Wedding Yurts.

Lizzie and Jim were brilliant from the very beginning. There is so much involved with having a wedding at home, but they really helped put our minds at rest with all their knowledge and experience. There were so many decisions to make and Lizzie helped tremendously with this, from the decor, the wine and welcome drinks, to where to put the beer bar!

Lizzie and Jim became part of the family the week before the wedding and we really enjoyed having them around, and thoroughly enjoyed the whole run up to the big day; seeing the yurts develop each day was wonderful. We couldn’t have wished for a more professional, personal service than we received: they are a real credit to the wedding scene. They were so trustworthy and reliable, and we have never met such hard working people. We really wish them so much luck for the future and hope everyone decides to choose the yurts because it really made our big day so special.”

"We wanted to say a huge thank you to Lizzie and Jim for making our woodland wedding party such an amazing and unique experience with the presence of their beautiful yurts.

Right from the start they responded to our e-mails and texts without hesitation and with friendly reassurance. The yurts were perfect in our woodland - totally in-keeping with their surroundings. They created a wonderful atmosphere and became magical at night with their deep pink liners and strings of golden fairy lights. We linked two yurts together and had a separate food tent which worked really well - everyone loved them! It was not the balmiest of April evenings but we were all cosy and warm in our yurt with the wood burner radiating welcome heat.

Lizzie and Jim worked so hard putting them up and then still had energy to help everyone else decorating them. They are both so good at what they do! We loved their company so much that we invited them to join in our celebrations. Camping in the yurts at the end of the night just prolonged our joy at hiring them - fantastic fun! I'm writing this testimonial a week after the yurts have been taken down and we're still missing Lizzie and Jim and our magical yurt world!... If only we could do it all over again!"
